Dr. Steven Cohen has received an Erickson Foundation Research Award in Positive Aging from the Aging and Public Health Section of the American Public Health Association.

The Erickson award is given in recognition of contributions to the understanding of positive aging, as exemplified by Dr. Cohen’s paper Geographic variation in rural-urban obesity rates in older adults: Evidence from a national survey (co-authored with Lauren Kelley, MPH, CHES, Sarah Cook, MPH, Julia Foutz, MPH, and Trisha Sando, DPT, CWS).
