Research Interests

My current research focuses on modifiable protective and risk factors of health behaviors among older adults with chronic disease, particularly diabetes. Broadly, I study the mechanism linking stressful life events, psychosocial coping resources, and health outcomes among older adults from the life course perspective.

What brought you to GREMAP?

Collaborating with mentors and peers on research focusing on diabetes self-management and social determinants of health.

What do you like to do outside of work/school?

Baking, hiking, trail running, walking my dog.
