This project is directed by Kenneth Kendler at the VIPBG at Virginia Commonwealth University and is funded by a grant from the National Institute on Drug Abuse (R01-DA030005). It is a collaboration with Kristina and Jan Sundquist at Lund University in Malmo, Sweden. The goal of this study is to understand the etiology, consequences, and causes of drug use disorders using nationwide, geocoded, family-linked data in Sweden.
